Vivaldi Application
Meteo Protect, an insurance and reinsurance broker focused on weather risk management, developed the Vivaldi application using the SAP HANA platform.
It’s a risk assessment and risk-hedging app, integrated with a global weather database and pricing platform. The app allows customers to customize their insurance policies, including geolocation, coverage period, and weather parameters. It uses the SAP HANA platform to aggregate weather-related data, analyze risks, as well as price and underwrite the policies – all in real time.
