Concept SAPUI5 TypeScript Support SAPUI5 TypeScript support enables developers to build SAPUI5 applications using TypeScript, a typed superset of JavaScript. According to the [TypeScript FAQ](https://ui5.sap.com/#/topic/8439949bbdc34141bd2b9194f91d42c2), SAP provides type definitions for the SAPUI5 APIs so that developers can benefit from type safety, code completion, and improved tooling when working with the framework. This support is part of the ongoing evolution of SAPUI5 development practices, as reflected in release updates such as [What's New in SAPUI5 1.150](https://ui5.sap.com/#/topic/65d4973a83614c5dbf7b471e64d50888).
